Poel Group Staffing is Hiring a Director of Nursing Near Cocoa, FL

Seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Director at an addiction recovery facility. This position will play a pivotal role in overseeing the recruitment, training, and management of a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to providing high-quality care to individuals on their journey to recovery. This leadership position requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of addiction recovery, exceptional organizational skills, supervisory and operational aptitude, and the ability to inspire and guide a team.
Responsibilities:
    • Staff Leadership and Development.
    • Recruit, hire, and train a diverse and skilled team of addiction counselors, support staff, and administrative personnel.
    • Program Oversight.
    • Collaborate with clinical and medical staff to ensure the seamless integration of addiction treatment programs and services.
    • Implement and monitor evidence-based practices, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for growth.
    • Develop and implement strategies to address performance issues and enhance overall team efficiency.
    • Oversee Compliance and Quality Assurance.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and accreditation requirements.
    • Oversee quality assurance initiatives, conducting audits and implementing improvements to enhance the effectiveness of addiction recovery programs.
    • Foster strong communication channels among staff members, promoting a collaborative and supportive team culture.
    • Collaborate with other department heads and external stakeholders to coordinate comprehensive care plans for clients.
    • Manage staffing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to meet program needs.
    • Identify and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize staff productivity and facility operations.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in addiction recovery or mental health settings.
  • Licensed or certified in addiction counseling or related field (e.g., LCDC, LPC, LCSW).
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based addiction treatment modalities and recovery principles.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to devise and implement work policies.
  • Ability to supervise a team and lead operations.
  • Highly dedicated, professional, and caring.
